STUDY GUIDE
Tips for the test:
- I will not ask you to define any terms but they will be assessed through multiple choice questions.
- Be able to describe the flow of air form outside your body throughout your respiratory system and eventually oxygen in your blood.
-How do you breath? How does this involve pressure? What structures cause this change in pressure?
- how does gas exchange occur?? This cannot be discussed without reference to concentration gradients.
-Be prepared to discuss respiratory diseases...what causes them and how can they be treated?
-Be able to interpret the lung capacity graphs....when did a deep breath occur? when did the person exhale completely...etc....
